Solar Energy
Ideas and technologies developed at the Steward Observatory Mirror Lab and in telescope design can be put to use in developing more efficient ways of collecting solar energy. While not directly related to astronomy, this work demonstrates how the research at Steward Observatory can produce some unexpected, practical results. This research is being carried out and brought to commercial fruition through the research company Rehnu.
