PI 101 Workshop November 18 - 20, 2019

Welcome to the P1 101 Workshop

Hosted by Steward Observatory, The University of Arizona

Our main goal is to train new Principal Investigators (PI’s) in mission concept development in preparation for NASA Science Mission Directorate (SMD) Announcements of Opportunity (AO).  This workshop will disseminate some of the key pieces of information on how a mission concept is developed.  Attendees will arrive with a science question that can be probed and developed over the course of the workshop.  At the end of the workshop attendees should know the steps forward to develop their science idea into a mission.
