Chris Impey Awarded Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor Grant/Honor

Dept of Astronomy and Steward Observatory and University Distinguished Professor Chris Impey has become the first Astronomer or Physicist to receive the position of Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor. This award gives him $1million over 5 years to create ways to integrate student learning with his professional research activities.
