Two 51 Pegasi b Fellows will be at Steward in Fall 2022

The Heising-Simons Foundation announced the newest cohort of 51 Pegasi b Fellows on March 31, 2022.  Astronomy/Steward will be hosting two of them beginning Fall 2022. The first is current Steward postdoc Leonardo Krapp. He will be working on solving "problems in planet formation theory by producing novel computational simulations of gas and dust dynamics." We welcome Brittany Miles to Steward this fall. She is currently a PhD candidate at UC Santa Cruz. Her research will entail "benefitting the future of exoplanet observation by studying comparable signatures in brown dwarf atmospheres and testing detector technologies to find Earth-like planets." Congratulations to both of you.
