Space Projects

Steward Observatory currently has a number of projects in planning or underway to produce components for future space based missions, amongst them the James Webb Space Telescope - NASA's next generation space telescope, which will be the premier infra-red telescope of the next two decades.

The expert work of scientists at the University of Arizona and Steward Observatory is crucial to producing this pioneering research. The links to the right contain information about our current ongoing work in this field.
