A number of users offer to the general user community,
their versions of third party software which the Computer Support Group
is not yet able to support.  As an aid to users in finding and using
this unsupported software, it has been suggested that it be placed in
a central location, rather than in a number of private home directories.
As a temporary experiment, we will establish "/opt/unsupported" as this
location.  Users wishing to contribute to this, should email "skip" the
pathname of an executable and an optional, but highly recommended,
readme file, which I will copy into this location.
