Giant Magellan Telescope

Message from the Director:

As part of an effort to keep colleagues and friends up-to-date on the myriad activities in the Astronomy Department and Steward Observatory, we are proposing to issue a monthly electronic newsletter drawing attention to various happenings.  This month’s mailing features upcoming events and a collection of January news articles. We hope, with your assistance, to expand the letter to include departmental announcements, a list of recently submitted papers, awards etc.  Please send suggestions, questions, comments, and announcement submissions to newsletter@as.arizona.edu.  - Peter Strittmatter
